Our chefs will show you the very best Barcelona has to offer: tantalise your tastebuds trying local cheeses and olives, sample the different types of ham and discover the oldest wood fired oven in Europe used for toasting nuts; a famous ingredient in Catalan specialities.
During your foodie stroll you'll learn about the history of patisserie in Barcelona. You'll visit the café where the famous "xocolata" (hot chocolate) was invented as well as some of the best patisserie shops in the city. There you´ll have the chance to recharge your batteries while sampling some of our typical delicacies. We'll also show you where to buy the sweets, cakes and biscuits made by convent nuns.
Barcelona's gastronomy is undoubtedly influenced by the same principals of design and creativity that characterize the city so we'll also be taking you to a sweet factory to discover the latest trends.
And of course, a gastronomic tour of Barcelona wouldn't be complete without a visit to the famous Boquería market.
